Project of Peoples Club of Nigeria, Houston

(First International Branch)

Peoples Club of Nigeria International does not derive from financial endowment of any sort. Every expenditure made by the club is made possible by the collective effort of the members through dues, levies, donations and fund-raising activities. PCNI Houston is a  tax exempt organization (501c3), and therefore, accepts unrestricted donations from individuals and organizations.

The club has over the years embarked on a number of remarkable projects that separates Houston Branch  from others clubs:

  • In the year 2001, the club, purchased a twelve-acre land in the Houston area (Rosenberg TX).
  • Following the purchase of land, they bought structures for the building of the club house from General Steels.
  • In the year 2004, the club built a 35,000 square feet ultra-modern hall with a seating capacity of over two thousand people.
  • The club started to hold its meetings in the small portion of the building in the year 2010
  • In the year 2013, the club had their first big party in their own building.
  • The club build two fields for both soccer and American football; all for the use of Houston community and its environs
  • The Club picnic area with 4,000 square feet Gazebo for the enjoyment of members, friends and Houston community.
  • PCNI Houston continually assist members in need financially and materially. It has come to be known as one of the organizations that come to peoples’ aid in times of natural disasters in Houston areas. PCNI Houston on annual basis has given huge financial supports to Houston food banks, Star of Hope , Red-cross and other charitable organizations.
  • A lot of young practicing African-American born professionals are beneficiaries of PCNI Houston’s annual summer youths’ education enrichment programs and Scholarship schemes – programs that are now age long and not found in many other organizations.
  • By the close of 2019, the club approved the project of over six hundred thousand dollars ($600,000.00) for parking lots and construction of the road leading to the club’s premises. This projects were fully executed before the end of summer 2020.
  • The monumental “PEOPLES CLUB OF NIGERIA INTERNATIONAL” Sign was designed and installed at 452 KROECHE ROAD  ( PCNI address) – a historical land mark for the First site of PCNI outside Nigeria.
  • More projects in the making include, but not limited to: long tennis courts, basketball courts, swimming pools and of course add more buildings to our property which would make it remain the biggest and best non-government owned community center in Houston areas.
